GROWING THE AUDIENCE
As Behold continues to grow, one of our primary goals is expanding the audience for art.
Not just artists
Art lovers.
Collectors.
The art-curious.
People who simply enjoy discovering creative work.
To support that effort, we’re beginning to roll out our organic social media campaign. Over the coming weeks you’ll see more content designed to introduce new people to Behold and encourage them to explore the incredible work being shared by artists from around the world.
Please watch for it—and share it whenever you can.
Every new viewer creates new opportunities for artists.
INVITE YOUR GROUP
We’re also launching a new initiative focused on artist communities.
Many artists belong to organizations, associations, schools, collectives, studios, and local art groups. Rather than growing artist by artist, we’d like to help entire communities participate together.
We’re currently developing curated group collections that can showcase artists from a specific organization or community.
We’re beginning with Pittsford Fine Art (PFA), an artist-owned gallery, as we refine the program and learn what works best for participating groups.
If you’re part of a group, introduce us.
Bring your community.
We’ll help build the collection.
HELP YOURSELF WHILE HELPING BEHOLD
A few simple things can increase your visibility:
• Complete your profile.
• Tell people about yourself and your artistic journey.
• Add descriptions to your artwork. People enjoy understanding what inspired a piece, how it was created, or what you were exploring.
• Add new work periodically or refresh the work featured in your Discovery feed.
• Make sure your app is set to auto-update so you receive new features as they are released.
The stronger your profile, the more opportunity people have to connect with your work.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING ON
Current development priorities include:
• Improved discovery experiences
• Self-curation and collection-building
• Expanded sharing capabilities
• Artist engagement reporting to help provide greater insight into likes, saves, collections, and other engagement activity
Our goal is simple: help more people discover art and help artists better understand what resonates with their audience.
A QUICK ONBOARDING NOTE
We’ve discovered a small issue affecting some artist profiles.
In a few cases, artists have completed onboarding and submitted work for approval, but their name is not appearing in their profile.
We’ve learned that depending on the order in which profile fields are completed and saved, the name field may occasionally be lost during the process.
If you are currently waiting for approval, please take a moment to check your profile and confirm that your name appears correctly.
If your name is missing, simply update and save your profile.
Thank you for your patience as we continue improving the platform and learning from real-world use.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Share Behold.
Invite friends.
Invite fellow artists.
Invite collectors.
Invite art lovers.
Invite your group.
The value of Behold grows with every artist, every viewer, every collection, and every community that joins.
Every share matters.
Bring your group. We’ll help build the collection.
We’re building this together.
